Our Disco Service

At Franklin Entertainment our aim to provide the best possible disco for your special occasion. To do this we specialise in producing customised discos by finding out exactly what you are looking for.

Many other disco companies are unable to provide such a service as they restrict their customers to disco packages such as the bronze, silver or gold options you may have seen, which are based on price, not the needs of your venue/function. However, this doesn’t mean we charge a higher price, in fact quite the opposite. Our highly competitive prices are based on the duration and location of the venue. That’s it. We do not charge by the amount of equipment we bring, or the size of the disco; as far as we’re concerned you’ve booked us for that day, and for that day you’re our priority.

The songs / type of music you want to hear

You may have songs that you would prefer us to play or avoid, we are very happy to take requests

A disco which meets the sound / lighting requirements of your venue

The disco will be structured so that the sound and lighting is optimal for your venue

An experienced DJ dressed appropriately for your function

The DJ will come to your event dressed however you feel is most appropriate – this might be black tie, suit or smart casual for example

The style of disco you want

We offer a range of disco styles from subtle lighting to special laser effects, the choice is yours

The sound levels you want, when you want them

You may want background music at the beginning of your function for example, to allow guests to talk

Hosting of speeches / announcements

We can provide speech amplification with a cordless microphone. The DJ will also be happy to make announcements on your behalf if you wish

We always try to ensure that the disco is set up at a convenient time for you, and that it is ready for when your guests arrive

Our Disco

The disco itself is comprised of an extensive music collection from the 1950’s right up to the latest chart music, a state-of-the-art sound system and a range of DMX Intelligent lighting and lasers enhanced by the use of special effects such as fog. All of this is inclusive in every disco we are booked for (unless there are restrictions on the use of fog at your venue) To give you an idea of the venue sizes we can accommodate for, we have provided our services for smaller family gatherings such as special anniversaries and birthday parties right up to a party for 300 in the marquee at Knebworth House.

All of our equipment is fully insured, and all necessary safety checks have been carried out. A copy of our Public Liability Certificate can be provided upon request.
